JOE + SAVANNAH | Athens, GA

My heart skips a beat when I think of the love between Savannah & Joe!! These two radiate sunshine & pure LIGHT! And their love for each other?! Oh my! It is endless and oh so tangible!

These two met at a church camp when they were 16! Talk about goals! They both put their lives on hold for 1.5+ years to serve missions for their church; Savannah in Uruguay, and Joe in Arizona. Thanks to COVID, their wedding plans were ever changing. They decided to do a very small wedding ceremony in July. Since we wanted to capture all the special moments a wedding day entails, we did Savannah & Joe’s first look and bridals on Monday August 10th, and the following Saturday, family and friends came together to celebrate with a beautiful ring ceremony at Savannah’s family home and their reception at the stunning Thompson House & Gardens in Athens, GA!

My favorite part of the day was watching Savannah and Joe interact with their friends & families, but especially their family members. Both S + J are so loving and kind and everyone feels 10x better by just being around them. They made everyone feel so important and wanted on THEIR special day! These are the kinds of people you need in your life!

I absolutely loved photographing this special day for Savannah and Joe! They made my job easy with the very tangible love they naturally emulate! Thank you, thank you, thank you for allowing me to be your photographer! I truly loved every second of it!
