MATTHEW + EMILY | Cape Cod, MA

Weddings

Where to even begin with this amazing wedding day?!

Emily and I were roommates together in college so it was an absolute HONOR to be the one photographing her wedding day! I remember a couple years after we finished school, Emily came to visit Atlanta for an interview and told me all about this cute boy she met. Watching her light up as she told me all about him, I knew he was special!

Emily & Matt were supposed to tie the knot in April this year, but with all the COVID regulations, they decided to play it safe and postpone to keep themselves and their guests safe. We finallllly got to celebrate them in beautiful Cape Cod! Matt & Emily were surrounded by a very small group of their family as they joined as one in a stunning Lutheran church. There ceremony was so spiritual and special.

After their ceremony, we had a delicious brunch at Matt’s parent’s home and shared stories of Matt & Emily, along with the sweetest powerpoint Emily’s mom put together of pictures of the newlyweds, throughout their lives. I learned SO much about the couple and it just proved how destined they were to be together!

The day was absolutely incredible! Matt & Emily were a DREAM to work with – I’m talking the sweetest, calmest, most loving people I think I have ever met. Instead of being concerned about their special moment, they spent the weekend making sure everyone else was safe, comfortable & happy. They are pure angels and it was SUCH an honor to photograph their wedding day. I love you Matt & Emily!! xx
